They have around 15 stores throughout the country with Latham's being the first in NY. Honestly, I drove by it a few times after it was built but never really looked into it. Starbucks Frappuccino Fan Flavors Review

[New for 2015] ‎With the S'mores Frappuccino review doing so well, I decided that we should keep reviewing Starbucks newer options. In celebration of the frapp's 20 year anniversary, they recently made 6 of their secret menu frapps available for order in all their stores.

They also are giving customers the opportunity to vote on their favorite to make it onto the permanent menu. Since I'm nothing but a perfectionist, I decided to try all 6 (not at the same time and with the help of a pretty girl) for science! Let's do this review by starting with my least favorite and finishing with the frapp that would get my vote to stay on the menu.

Good morning Nosh Show listeners! We've got a great show (#57) for you where we learn about Marvo's creative way of eating pizza, Eric's fear of fruit floating in milk and Ryan tells a joke that I laugh at but will make little sense to the listener because the context for it got edited from the beginning of the show (oh, I tease, I tease, you know I love Marvo's mad editing skills!).

We've also got Happy Happy Mystery Package Fun Time where my guessing skills are on point! My nosh of the week goes out to Gelato Fiasco's new Sriracha Peanut Gelato because I'm still amazed at how much I enjoyed it. There's proof I ate it here and then Nick has an official review coming on Friday as GF faces off against another Sriracha flavor. I know who my money is on!

Oh, one last note: I did indeed try Chick-fil-A Icedream. My buddy and I had just gotten out of the enjoyable Avengers: Age of Ultron and he needed food. It was late so I went with a simple small icedream. It wasn't bad at all, definitely a bit unexpected as it was a bit icier than your typical softserve, but the flavor was fine. I kind of wish I had noticed that they had a cookies & cream milkshake. I also got several recommendations to try that new frozen lemonade they have but I'll have to go back for that since they were out of lemonade for the day.

Graeters Black Raspberry Gelato

[New for 2015] Ahhhh, black raspberry, you'll always hold a special place in my heart. I think the reason is that when I was a kid, strawberry was readily available via Neapolitan but black raspberry had to be scooped fresh from a local Friendlys. Ahhhh, good times. Now I enjoyed Graeters Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream long ago but there was part of me that wanted just the base, no chips. Well, my wish has finally come true!

NiИ#4: Brooklyn Farmacy Sundaes

[Nick in New York City #4] ‎Within walking distance of Milkmade's new shop is Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain. They were actually celebrating their 5th anniversary when I stopped in. BF is your classic soda fountain brought to life in the present day.

Walking in, it's as if you've been transported back in time. The decor is all very retro and honestly, I could feel the nostalgia going on from some of the older customers at the shop. It's definitely something to take in.

NiИ#4: The New Milkmade Ice Cream Tasting Room

[Nick in New York City #4] As I mentioned in my last NYC post, Milkmade had recently opened up their first scoop shop. I was able to make it down to Brooklyn last Saturday and check out her new space. I have to say, I was beyond blown away when I saw her shop.

Less than 3 months ago I was down here in this same spot when Diana told me she was opening up a scoop shop here. I looked around and had trouble envisioning a shop in this space but Diana transformed this into such a beautiful spot. Really, it's the perfect set up for a tasting room. It was amazing seeing that transformation.

NiИ#4: Mikey Likes It Ice Cream. Family Matters, Southern Hospitality and The Nutty Professor

[Nick in New York City #4] ‎Last time I went to Mikey Likes It, I sampled every flavor that they had in stock. I had promised in my last post I'd try a Mac Daddy (waffle sandwich) and the two flavors they were out of that I was interested in. Well I was back in the East Village on Saturday and held true to my word.

First up, it's a new month so of course I had to make my Mac Daddy with the new Family Matters Ice Cream. The new ice cream sounded awesome when I first heard about it.  The flavor is Raspberry Ice Cream with a Raspberry Almond Swirl, Sliced Almonds and then Mikey went all Urkle on us and threw in some Chocolate Swiss Roll Pieces into the mix. I can see him in the back saying "did I do that?" Yes, yes you did Mikey and it was a brilliant addition.

Yes, I thought way too much about that headline. As you know, Perry's ice cream (out of Buffalo) sent Nick and I a bunch of samples. Nick is covering some nutty products, but in my batch I got not one but two spicy flavors. Well, I assume they'll both be spicy anyway, how could they not be right? One is called fireball and other has pictures of peppers on it.

S'mores Oreos and the Nosh Show Episode 56

Good morning Nosh Show listeners! Today we dish up episode 56 and the highlight is Marvo's amazing ability to edit out a large percentage of my childish behavior (and rambling). Ahhh, that man is a editing genius. Now don't worry, much our shenanigans remain and I hope you laugh with us (you'll know what I mean when you get near the end of the episode).

S'mores Oreos

We do cover the new S'mores Oreo and after the show I realized something. Every single opinion I've heard on them is different. I don't think any things they are bad, but one person gets too much graham, another gets too much chocolate, another doesn't get enough of anything. There is always going to be some discrepancy between opinions (this blog proves that everyday), but it's funny to see it here.

To me, they aren't epic, but I am enjoying them. If you want to spice things up, make a double stuff/triple wafer combo (the one on the right in the picture). It's got a nice balance. Sure, technically it wastes a wafer, but just save them and then crush them over a sundae later on.
