[New for 2016] As far as I know so far, there are two new double shelled magnum bars out this year, as well as changing Magnum Gold?! to "Sea Salt Caramel". I'm also wondering if their infinity lineup is going to fade away. Do you approve of these changes? Have you tried the double raspberry yet? I love the double shell concept but it will basically make up half of their U.S. lineup (keeping in mind that even the original vanilla bean bar is now discontinued). I find this an interesting strategy to take. I guess we'll see how it plays out.

Magnum Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Bar Review

[By Nick] It looks like it’s time for a review of a product that got overlooked a couple of years ago when it was released. The Magnum Dark Chocolate ice cream bar was among the original Magnum bars that were introduced to the U.S. market in 2011.

It’s pretty straightforward in composition seeing as its just vanilla bean ice cream that has been dipped in dark Belgium chocolate, 60% cacao if you want to be exact. It is the only bar they offer here in the states that uses their dark chocolate instead of the typical milk chocolate (though they do have a white chocolate version that we'll review at some point).

Magnum Gold?! Ice Cream Bar Review

Well I just had an awesome lunchtime dessert because I've found the brandy new (to the U.S.) Magnum Gold Ice Cream Bars and all I can really say is "Oh my bloody word are these things good".

I was psyched to see this box staring at me, and on sale for $3.49 no less (at Stop & Shop). Magnum Gold?! is Vanilla Bean ice cream with a sea salt caramel swirl dipped in a golden chocolate coating. Is the gold a flavor? a gimmick? I don't really care because it looks super fancy and I need to open the box now.
