Hey everyone, still here. Got a few reviews in the queue that I just can't seem to finish. A side effect of spending all day in the home office is that I have no urge to blog when the work day is done. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way, but I apologize anyway.

To buy me another day or two to finish up what's in the queue, may I present this flavor... that was part of a free shipment back in 2017....  It's funny because I had finally found Coolhaus' plastic pints at Shaw's, and then they offered up a free selection of their new paper pints.

Cafe Espresso Chip is coffee ice cream with chocolate chunks and it disappeared quickly... like so quickly that I didn't get to try a scoop of it or grab a photo of it. I don't have an opinion for you, but three of my co-workers took the time to tell me that they really enjoyed it so if this one tempts you, I'm pretty sure that it's safe to purchase.

Outrageous Banana Split did not receive the same kind of love. It was in fact the last pint to leave the freezer (at least I think someone finally finished it). I know a lot of people love a good banana flavor, and after my small sampling I would call this a good banana flavor, but there are a ton of people out there who don't care for banana ice cream. Sorry, it's just reality. It has a nice ripe banana bread flavoring, so if that interests you, I say give it a try.

Verdict?  Coffee won the popularity contest, but Banana was still tasty.

Snow Monkey Superfood Ice Treat

So Nestle (Edy's/Dreyer's) isn't the only company with a banana based frozen treat on the market right now. At both Wegman's (regular $6.49) and Market Basket (regular $4.89), I found Snow Monkey which has Banana Puree as it's primary ingredient. The flavor line up is Cacao, Matcha Green Tea, Cinnamon, Passion Fruit, and Goji Berry (with the last two having no added sugar). The big selling points are vegan, paleo, nut free, dairy free, and 21 grams of protein per pint.

I say quick because a) banana isn't really my thing and b) 2/3 of this pint got lost in a power outage. That said, this is Haagen-Dazs so you know it's still going to be good.

Remember last fall when Pierre's was nice enough to send over a carton of goodies to try (like the excellent Emerald Necklace flavor)? Well, there were two pints that I put to the side and kind of forgot about because one had nuts and the other is coffee based. Now had I left these in a regular freezer, they would be toast by now, but since it's a deep freezer that doesn't have an auto-defrost cycle, these should still be good enough for sampling.

Oh how I have dreamed of this day. I mean the internet has been a buzz with this flavor and I've been going into grocery store after grocery store only to find Mango occupying the limited edition all-natural flavor spot. I was seriously have Ben & Jerry's Pina Colada flashback (which I still see on occasion) At long last though, the glorious combination of bananas and peanut butter is mine! I can't wait anymore, let's get into this!

[By Nick] This I unusual for me because I don’t normally crave banana flavored products. Lately though, I’ve been wanting them more and more. Seeing as I’m still on my mission to review every Ben & Jerry’s product available, I decided to revisit one of their best sellers: Chunky Monkey. Before trying Stewart’s Monkey Business, this was my go to for banana cravings. That said, it’s been years since I’ve had it so who knows if my taste buds or their formula has changed.

Quick Note: Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey ice cream has recently received the new fair trade packaging update but the ingredients and nutritional info have remained the same.
