We did it, we finally made it to Gelato Fiasco after all these years! It's been six years since my last GF review, and to make up for that, we visited GF Tuesday night on our way up through Maine, and then Wednesday night on our way back home. Let's see if this stuff is even better in person (but come on, you know it will be).

Overall the family and I are doing pretty good, but one of the random issues for me has been that I haven't been able to keep up with Dolcezza Gelato (their website, my reviews). Their Argentine gelato company is based in D.C. and I can only find them at Roche Bros. Well, guess what? They hit me up on Instagram and asked if I wanted to try free samples of their two newest flavors. Ummm, ofcourse I do!

Talenti Pumpkin Pie Gelato Layers

[New for Fall 2020] For the first time in forever, I feel like I've found something before anyone else. I had not seen anything about this product until it was staring me in the face (next to the returning B&J's Pumpkin Cheesecake and the new Eggo Pumpkin Pie Pancakes). Back in the old days, I might get the scoop on something like Ben & Jerry's Greek Froyo hitting my local shelves before anywhere else (link), but with so many people trying to be the next big instagram hit, it's so hard to be truly surprised anymore. I haven't been to Roche Bros very much this year but I was there last week for a non-ice cream item. While I was there, I ran through the freezer aisle ofcourse and noticed several new additions (my last trip there had been pretty boring). They had the new Alden pints, they had Peekaboo organic ice cream, and they had a half dozen flavors of Dolcezza. I do love my clear gelato containers, so I knew I had to come back and try one of these tasty looking flavors.
