New Stuff for 2025

Now I've seen a few new things pop up on instagram, but now I'm running in to new stuff online as well, so let me share what I've stumbled upon so far. First up, I found the new "Bakery Collection" over on the Talenti website. We're going to get three new layered flavors and you can be sure that I'll be testing all three: Italian Tiramisu, Snickerdoodle Cookie, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Batter.

Non-Dairy Strawberry Showdown

I wasn't sure how excited you would all be about the new oat milk based options from Walmart, but then I realized we could have a little fun with it. I recently picked up a pint of Talenti's retooled recipe #80 (summer strawberry sorbetto), so why not compare that strawberry non-dairy option to Walmart's non-dairy strawberry option? Talenti Double Cookie Crunch Dairy-Free Gelato

[2023 to 2025] Talenti has always had dairy-free options via their sorbetto options, though it wasn't until 2018 that they started calling them "dairy free sorbetto". Things are changing again in 2023. With Unilever as their parent company, they are joining their frozen treat siblings (like Ben & Jerry's and Breyers) by offering dairy alternatives. Two of them use cashew butter, and the other two are using oat milk. I won't be bringing the cashew butter ones home, so let's try....
