[New for 2021] So it's been 3 years since the Trio'politan line debuted, but for whatever reason, they didn't release any new Trio flavors last year and this is the only new one for this year. Hey, we'll take a new Trio flavor though right? Especially if it's S'mores flavored.

[New for 2019] Unfortunately Turkey Hill hasn't served up a whole lot of newness for us this year. In fact, it seems like the whole mainstream ice cream scene is not doing so well this year (try to think of something truly new from Breyers, Edys, Turkey Hill, etc). That said, I do love ending my days with a nice cup of vanilla ice cream, so let's see if this will do.

Turkey Hill Coffee Cake Trio'politan

[New for 2019] Hey, I found Trio #2 already! I expected to run in to the other one again but Market Basket tricked me and put a different Trio out instead. I am ok with this since it's kind of the one I was most interested in, especially after reading the description and verifying that it's trying to be coffee cake and not coffee (hey, you never know when someone is going to mix things up on you). Let's see if we can be surprised by.....

[New for 2019] It looks like Turkey Hill is literally doubling down on Trio'politan this year as we go from 4 Trio flavors to 8 (excluding the all natural version anyway). Will they have other new stuff for us? Maybe, but for now, we dig in to the first new Trio'politan flavor I could find.

[New for 2018] So we've talked about there being 5 new Trio'politan flavors this year. I'm never going to bother with the Coco Loco due to my disdain for coconut, but I am finally going to try number four now that Market Basket is was carrying Trio'politan.

Turkey Hill Chocolate Raspberry Bliss Trio'politan All Natural Ice Cream

[New for 2018, discontinued] If you follow me on twitter than you may have noticed that I try to encourage Turkey Hill to add more all natural flavors. I feel a little like a broken record but their all natural line up is basically my nighttime snack for about 85-90% of my evenings. I love old fashion ice cream and nothing reminds me of good 80s mainstream ice cream like Turkey Hill All Natural does. I wish more companies would move this way rather than messing with sugar replacement.

[New for 2018] So there are five new Trio-politan flavors from Turkey Hill this year. We've already covered the Mint one (which my daughter had me repurchase already) and the all natural one (review coming soon), so let's look at the most chocolatey of the bunch.

Turkey Hill Mint Cookie Trio'politan Ice Cream

[New for 2018] I find it amusing that we have a secondary trend going on this year... ok, trend might be a stretch, but is it not amusing that Haagen-Dazs Trio is being joined by Edy's Triple Cores and Turkey Hill Trio'politan. The lid even says "Trio" all over it. Now while Breyer's is busy swirling two frozen dairy desserts in to one container, Turkey Hill is taking things up a notch by shoving three ice creams in to one container side by side by side.
