Cold Stone Creamery New Holiday Flavors

[New for Nov 2024] My wife offered to bring home shakes from Cold Stone on Tuesday, so it seemed like a good time to check their website to see what's new. It looks like they have two new flavors right now, Double Chocolate Malt and....

Cold Stone Creamery Lucky Charms Shake

[New for 2021] I just wanted to take a moment to say this Lucky Charms shake is absolutely delicious. It tasted just like I wanted it to taste and I can't help but want another (dozen). Yes, it's that good.

My only mild comment is that the shake seemed a little thinner than the last few I've had, but I get that not every shake is the same.  Oh, and there weren't any marshmallow or cereal bits that distracted from the amazing flavor of this one. I know the description says that, but I didn't see any sign of them (not that I'm broken up about it). Anyway, go try this!

Cold Stone Creamery One Smart Brookie

[New for 2019] Why yes, we are doing back to back Brookie posts! See, another too quick weekend was coming to a close and my wife wanted to use her Cold Stone coupon. I use to cover their cakes and cupcakes back in the day, but I just don't seem to crave their ice cream anymore.... but who am I to argue with a BOGO coupon.

Cold Stone Creamery Blue Velvet Cake Ice Cream

[New for late 2018] Aquaman, Aquaman, does whatever an aqua can.... wait, I've made that joke before. Are you excited for the Aquaman movie? I -think- I am but only because I'm a fan of Jason Momoa (never really been a fan of Aquaman). Anyway, who wants ice cream?

Cold Stone Creamery Caramel Dessert Topping

So, why am I randomly reviewing one of the cold stone toppings? Well, it was on sale ofcourse! That and there is no caramel in my fridge or cabinet right now. I do like having caramel in my house but in general caramel sauces tend to be a bit hard to manage as a daily topping. I know that sounds lazy, but I don't want to have to pour some in a cup, microwave it to loosen it up, pour it on my ice cream, and then clean up the extra cup. Sundae Syrup doesn't have this issue, but I do like to try other brands from time to time. So, let's pour on some....

Cold Stone Creamery Loaded Peanut Butter Batter Ice Cream

[By Nick, New for 2016] I've been hearing news about some new cookie batter flavors at Cold Stone. I wasn't too excited about it all since the two flavors I heard about weren't all that creative. However, I just so happened to find myself at Cold Stone so I was debating on trying one of them. That was until I saw a sign for this little gem that wasn't in their original promotion.

Cold Stone Creamery Strawberry Dessert Topping

Now I spied the following product not too long ago but was unwilling to make the jump at $5.99 despite my urge to add a nice strawberry sauce to my sundae making supplies. Well, I was back at the store recently and low and behold it was on sale for $3.99. Yeah, I can try it at that price.

Cold Stone Creamery Original Sweet Cream Bar

I don't know what it is about the morning commute, but sometimes I really want a nice classic chocolate covered vanilla filled treat. Something simple yet sophisticated and well made... but I don't have any Talenti Vanilla Bean bars right now. Hmmm. Wait, I do have....

Cold Stone Creamery Birthday Cake Remix Signature Creation and Nick's 3rd Anniversary

[By Nick] Today marks 3 years of dealing with Dubba's last second posts and having to edit all of his photos. Wait, that's what he puts up and does for me? He's a saint and I couldn't thank him enough for all he has done for me. He's opened up so many doors and opportunities that 3 years ago I would've laughed about. He's become a second father even if he won't adopt me, I've adopted him in my book. He knows when I take over the ice cream world, I'll find a nice retirement home for him to make his sundaes at. I also have to thank you guys for sticking around and for every single comment, feedback and recommendation that you've sent my way. Without your support, I would've left Dubba to review vegan desserts on his own long ago.

Now Dubba does state of the freezer posts when it's his anniversary but I like to do reviews. So instead of showing you the current messy situation I call my freezer (which you can see on occasion in my instagram or twitter feeds. Warning: While my instagram is mostly food related, my twitter is my personal account so follow with caution. I may or may not post about the current situation of my pants on occasion), let's take a trip to Cold Stone and celebrate!

Cold Stone Creamery Fudge Truffle Decadence
Ice Cream Cake Quick Review

I'll admit it, I'm not very good at reviewing Cold Stone Cakes. Sure they are always tasty, but they're usually so dark and hard to photograph.... and I kind of get impatient and wind up just inhaling the thing. Oh well, I tried. Here's what I got.

Hot For Cookie
A Cold Stone Creamery Hot Stone Dessert

[By Nick] So if you live in the North East like Dubba and I, you've been experiencing a lot of below zero days as of late but that's not going to stop us from eating ice cream. It seems like a good time to review something from Cold Stone's not-so new Hot Stone line. Thankfully I had a date with a pretty girl today that involved us going to Cold Stone. With the temperature barely in the positive range, I knew it was a perfect time to try out one of these creations.

Cold Stone Creamery Mud Pie Mojo Signature Creation

[By Nick] With my recent move away from the middle of nowhere, I now find myself with a lot of awesome food places within a reasonable distance. For example, Cold Stone Creamery. Now I've been to Coldstone a few times in my life and I know all about making my own combination of stuff. Seeing as a lot of people opt to just go with one of their Signature Creations, I thought why not start reviewing them for the site? I mean a lot of them sound awesome but the one that stood out to me the most was their Mudpie Mojo.

[bought during limited May 28, 2014 to June 15, 2014 run]
Yeah, you read that right, I'm reviewing a product that was only available for two weeks.... how silly is that? It's such a shame for a well flavored cake.

Cold Stone Creamery Cookie Dough Ice Cream
and how to save a buck or two at Six Flags

Hello my friends, how are you doing tonight? Me, I'm beat. I spent 7 hours wandering a fairly unbusy Six Flags New England today and I am ready for rest, but I have a question before I fall asleep. Well, I have some ice cream for you first, then I have a question.

This is Cold Stone Creamery Cookie Dough ice cream in a waffle bowl. No, it's not mine. My buddy bought this for his daughter and a big bowl of cookie dough ice cream (sans waffle) for my daughter. You see, we've discovered the secret of not going broke at Six Flags. Spend the extra dollar to double the size of whatever you order, and then split the food. We made short work of the ice cream after our kids could only make it half way through their treat.  This trick also worked for the giant double cheeseburger and fries I split with my daughter. It was so tasty, and now it comes with less guilt!

Cold Stone Creamery Classic Turtle Sundae
A "Retro Classic" Treat Review

[New for 2012] I wanted to pick up "something new" from Cold Stone, and since I can't find a flavor of the month (unless it's cherry vanilla where the cherries are purple), then I guess I'll give in to all the retro signage hanging around.

Hmmmm, choices choices choices - Well I'm not a huge float or banana fan, so let's scoop a turtle
(note: there are three other retro classics, but I didnt see them until after I ordered)

Well it's not exactly what I expected, and it would have been nice to have a spoon that's got more stiffness than a sheet of paper, but you know it's still going to be excellent. Sweet Caramel, Hot Fudge & lots of pecans on top of some excellent whip cream and very tasty french vanilla ice cream (I didn't pick french vanilla, they did). I don't have a whole lot to say except that it was sweet, fresh, and very tasty.

I know this review is short, so I'll leave you with some ice cream "photo bowls" they had at Target, I think they were $4.99 a pop. We also saw that the DQ Blizzard Oreos are back!

Cold Stone Creamery Filled Milk Chocolates
A disappointing candy review

Have you ever walked by those Cold Stone Creamery candies and thought "Man those look good?". Well, save your money my friends. I got these bad boys half off at Target and I still feel ripped off.
Oh, for some weird reason, all of the outside wrappers on these treats smell like nuts. I checked the ingredients before I started this review and it does mention the possibility of trace pecans.
