That's right Nosh Show Listeners, Nerd Lunch has convinced our old bud Eric the Junk Food Guy to (briefly?) step out of podcasting retirement and have some sweet sixteen inspired pizza talk. M&M's & The Nosh Show Episode 112

Hello Nosh Show Listeners! Episode 112 is live and ready for noshing, I mean listening.

The M&M we cover during the show is the White Pumpkin Pie M&M and it's a pretty good representation of pumpkin pie. My personal preference tells me it's a little heavy on the spice, but I give them a kudos for getting the flavor so close. I would definitely pick these up if you are interested (or if you were disappointed in last years version with milk chocolate).

I actually brought Cookies & Screeem M&M's as my back up snack for Nosh it Now. To keep it simple, I don't really like these, there's just something off about them. That said, they are still surprisingly easy to devour. I think my trouble is that they have that weird fake cookies & cream vibe to them, but it's still an M&M, so you keep going anyway.

Last up is the cheese pizza Cheez-its I try during Nosh it Now. I don't love them but don't hate them either. I had some more over the weekend and they aren't bad bad but I don't see repurchasing them. Ryan brought the nacho variety to NiN so they're plenty of Cheez-it recap at the end of the show. Hardees Milkshakes and the Nosh Show Episode 108

Hey Nosh Show Listeners! I'm afraid I'm not on Episode 108 of the Nosh Show because I was busy "relaxing" (aka not relaxing) in Virginia. While the guys were recording the show without me, I did get a chance to try the shakes at Hardees (aka Carl Jrs).

I was impressed with how much I enjoyed the strawberry shake, it hit the spot with my so-so "charbroiled" chicken sandwich (aka a piece of chicken that was sort of warm and seemed to have taken a bath in some red dye). I preferred the fun strawberry flavor over the syrup heavy chocolate shake my wife was drinking. However, she had the opposite opinion. My daughter tried both the vanilla (on our first visit) and the chocolate (on our second visit) and she preferred the vanilla.

That said, our only true complaint was that they weren't larger. Ok, technically my daughter did mention that she would prefer a thinner shake with her meal but that's just personal preference there as I definitely prefer a shake that feels more traditional (aka just milk and ice cream).

So, have you had Hardee's (Carl Jr's) shakes before? What do you think of them? Do you get them often? Do you get them with whipped cream?  I think I would prefer their shake over the other fast food chains and I was a little sad that I didn't get to sneak in one more before our journey ended.

Promised Land Midnight Chocolate Milk and the Nosh Show Episode 106

Hey Podcast People, sorry for the Nosh Show break but we are back with episode 106.

As always, much discussion about the latest and greatest junk food. My nosh of the week is the excellent Midnight Chocolate Milk from Promised Land Dairy. They are from the Midwest but have made their way to the east coast and I'm glad they did. I wasn't sure about the price point during the show. I guessed $1.50 for 20oz but it's actually $3 for 32oz (when on sale). That might knock it off the list as a daily pickup for some, but I do recommend trying it if you can as it's very tasty. The Reese's mini cups with pieces are excellent as well (I'm on my second bag now).

Somber salutations Nosh Show Listeners. There is no review today, just a picture of this glorious looking thing that Carvel has put out. I envision eating it like a giant ice cream sandwich. I can't imagine it not being delightful to eat. I kind of don't want to go back and buy it for fear it won't live up to expectations. Just like Episode 101, I don't want reality to make me sad.

The Nosh Show Episode 100 Extravaganza

Hiyoooo! Can you believe we made it to the 100th episode of the Nosh Show? I know there was a one week delay but that's only because Marvo was busy putting in a ton of effort creating a very silly Episode 100 for you.

To commemorate a hundred episodes of hanging out and talking junk food, fast food, and frozen treats, we play junk food jeopardy and it's harder than it sounds. I don't want to spoil any of the surprises during the show, but I would like to take a moment to apologize for sounding a bit frustrated in the middle of the show. After about three minutes though you will hear a bunch of laughter and everything is alright again (I may have said something that needed editing).
