Burger King Pumpkin Spice Oreo Shake

[New for Fall 2015] Or should I say Oreo pumpkin spice shake? Iunno. All I do know is that many of you were angry about the Red Velvet Oreo Shake so let's see if the King can redeem himself a bit. Oh, and no, I didnt get the HA1loween Whopper because I didn't feel like getting 2/3 of my recommended daily sodium intake (Marvo or Ryan didn't seem to like it much anyway).

Hood Pumpkin Ice Cream Sandwiches

I'll be honest, I really don't want to propagate the pumpkin spice madness anymore. I know it makes many of you happy, but I personally have no urge to see it everyday from September 1st through November. I saw pumpkin spice sugar at lunchtime and was just beside myself going "Really?". I think many of us will burn out on pumpkin long before we hit Pumpkin's true peak, Thanksgiving. Oh how I love my beloved pumpkin pie! (and pumpkin blizzards!)

Zaxby's Milkshakes

[By Nick] It's Shake Sunday and I've got a couple of Southern fast food chains known for their milkshakes to cover today. If you haven't checked out my review of Cook Out, be sure to check it out here. This time we're covering Zaxby's.

Zaxby's has over 600 locations primarily in the southeast. They are well know for their chicken but I'm here to talk shakes.

Stewart's Philly Apple Pie Ice Cream
Stewart's Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream

[By Nick] Happy First Day of Fall, everyone!‎ Oh how I love Fall. It's by far my favorite season. Not just because of the cooler weather, Halloween or even the fact that my birthday happens to fall in Fall (see what I did there? I'm a tool). It's all the seasonal products that are gracing the shelves as we speak. From Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts to all the varieties of candy corn. I'd have no problem eating fall seasonal products year round. I mean, Monster Cereals are back! How can you start your morning without Count Chocula? The answer is you can't without it being sad and meaningless.

Okay, well I just got side tracked really bad. I think I might be turning into Dubba. Please, send help. Now what was I supposed to be writing about? Oh yeah, Stewart's Fall Seasonal Ice Creams!

Snapple Iced Tea Bars

We haven't covered any of the branded freeze pops in a while, and technically we've covered the Snapple Sorbet bars before, but, well, this was an easy grab when I finally noticed them.

Turkey Hill Vanilla Bean & Chocolate Ice Cream

I don't know what it is right now, but I can't get enough of Turkey Hill's all natural ice cream. I know some of you prefer creamier alternatives, but for me, the coldness and the clarity is just really clicking and I get frustrated when the container runs out. I've gone through... iunno, at least a half dozen containers in the last two months. That may not sound like a ton, but if you factor in all the other things that get reviewed for the blog, then you might go "wait, how does he fit that into his schedule?"

Steve's Blackberry Crumble Ice Cream

[By Nick] Some people consider Steve's as a carbon copy of Jeni's. I can't disagree with them there. The original Steve's packaging is similar, flavors are close and methods for sourcing ingredients are reminiscent of Jeni's as well. The only difference I really see is that Steve's charges a lot less for their products and I've rarely have been let down by a flavor. With Jeni's still not in markets, Steve's has another Jeni's-esque flavor out. You remember Jeni's Brambleberry Crisp? Well, meet Steve's version.

Kohr Bros Frozen Custard

Remember how I said I had like 17 stories from New Jersey and I would probably forget to tell you 14 of them? Well, this is one of the fourteen, and at this point, I'm going to tell this story very poorly.

This is Kohr Bros Frozen Custard, not to be confused with Kohr's Frozen Custard. Yes, they are related, but one has like 7 stores and the other has like 70. We'll, maybe not that many, but let's focus on the bigger chain shall we? They've been all over the Wildwood and New Jersey boardwalks since I was a kid so it was nice to see them still around.

Mad Minis Black Raspberry Ice Cream Sandwiches

[New for 2015] You know, every (hungry) morning on my way to the car, I think about grabbing a handful of today's review. I haven't left myself any ice cream bars or sandwiches that I can randomly grab on the way to work and I suspect these might do nicely. Hmmmmm.

Fruit Dips Wild Blueberry Bars

[2016: some stores just carry the mixed 8 packs now]

Sometimes the sign of a special treat is not in how fast you eat a box, but how long you savor a box. See, I realized that the strawberry fruit dips are a great mid-mowing snack (what? it takes me like 2 hours to mow). I've finally burned through my two strawberry boxes from my first review and was debating which flavor deserved to go next.

Pierre's Mocha Mud Pie Ice Cream
Pierre's Banana Fudge Chunk Ice Cream

Remember last fall when Pierre's was nice enough to send over a carton of goodies to try (like the excellent Emerald Necklace flavor)? Well, there were two pints that I put to the side and kind of forgot about because one had nuts and the other is coffee based. Now had I left these in a regular freezer, they would be toast by now, but since it's a deep freezer that doesn't have an auto-defrost cycle, these should still be good enough for sampling.

Target Triple Chocolate Gelato

[2015-2016] If you're like me, sometimes you cant get chocolate off your brain. And if you're really like me, that means that the majority of the time you dont buy chocolate simply for the fact you'll devour it instead of saving it for the rough days. Well, it's one of those days where I need chocolate but I don't have any... or do I?

DQ Blizzard in a Waffle Cone : Yay or Nay?

So I forgot my wallet at home today and I didn't bring a lunch, so I thought I was in trouble until I remembered that I had a few bucks left on a DQ gift card in my glove box. Ok, I've got lunch now, but how to turn it in to a review since September (and October) both feature the pumpkin pie blizzard instead of something new. Wait, I have an idea!

Brigham's Paul Revere's Rocky Ride Ice Cream

It was a Monday and I desperately needed an icy cold chocolate fix despite having already inhaled a Hershey's Special Dark bar. I headed to Roche Bros to track down some chocolaty options. A few caught my eye, but only one was a steal at $2.99.
