Burger 21 White Chocolate Raspberry Shake

[By Nick, limited time only] Another month, another new pairing of limited edition items from Burger 21. This month's specials are a Loaded Spud Burger and the....

Burger 21 White Chocolate Raspberry Shake
‎Vanilla ice cream, Ghirardelli white chocolate sauce and Monin Raspberry Puree
blended together. Topped with whipped cream and a Monin Raspberry drizzle

This is definitely a pretty shake. I love the color the raspberry puree adds. The shakes tastes just as good as it looks. The white chocolate flavor is strong but not overpowering or cloying. I love white chocolate and this was perfect for me. The raspberry puree is more sweet than tart and very fresh. Nothing artificial tasting or any of that nonsense. Blended with the white chocolate, this flavor tastes really familiar.

Have you ever had Haagen-Dazs White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle ice cream? Subtract the truffles and that's what this shake tastes like. I highly approve of these developments and this shake was consumed a lot faster than usual. I kind of wished I had ordered a bigger size.

I promised I'd try their sweet potato fries and I'm happy to report back that they're a solid option for a side. They have a little bit of cinnamon flavor to them which actually works perfectly with their honey mustard sauce. They're very similar to the normal fries in texture which is a good thing. Nice, crispy exterior with a fluffy yet still substantial filling.

The burger is definitely something that feels like you're taking minutes off your life when eating. It's just so rich and salty. Heavy would be a better term to describe it. I thought it was delicious but something I could only eat once every 5 years or so.

Verdict?  White chocolate + raspberries is always a win
Buy Again?  I need one more before it's gone
