Museum Of Ice Cream Vanillionaire Ice Cream

[New for Summer 2018] Have you ever heard of the Museum of Ice Cream? Maybe not, but you have probably seen a picture on social media of someone "swimming" around their giant pool of ice cream sprinkles. Well, for some reason they have gotten in to the ice cream game.... I should probably look for a press release. found it. Apparently the seven pint flavors will be exclusive to Target (and any Museum of Ice Cream location).

Ben & Jerry's Cotton Candy Ice Cream vs.Friendly's Rockin' Poppin' Cotton Candy Ice Cream

[Both New for 2013, B&J in scoop shops for early 2014, pints later. Both still around for 2015, Friendly's returned for 2016] Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a very special festive edition of Friday Night Fights! Nothing screams summer like cotton candy, or better yet, children screaming FOR cotton candy, hehehe. To   meet the pent up demand of young ones everyone, both companies have released a special treat for us.

Introductions:

In this corner, we've got a pint of Ben & Jerry's Cotton Candy Ice Cream, a Walmart exclusive. I mean, it was a fight just to find this one. It's cotton candy ice cream loaded with candy sprinkles. I may be an adult, but I'll always be a sucker for sprinkles.

In the other corner is a 48oz container of Friendly's Rockin' Poppin' Cotton Candy Ice Cream, an East coast limited edition exclusive... yeah, that sounds good. It's cotton candy flavored ice cream as well, but now we've got "poppin' candy" (also known as generic pop rocks).

New Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup A Walmart Exclusive Ice Cream

[New for 2013] Ahhhhh, there's nothing like the first mow of the season.... to remind you how old you are. Hehehehe, ok, I may be young at heart but I'm pretty sure my joints are twice as old as they should be. Ahhh, it is what it is. I think it's time to call it a night and reward myself with what I found at Walmart this morning.

This is Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup ice cream. That's right, Peanut Butter Cup now has a chocolaty brother to keep him company on Walmart shelves. Is this just a gimmick? You might think that, but look closely. Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Peanut Butter Cups. This is no simple chocolate base with a pb swirl that we've seen a thousand times. This is more like Graeter's version where the peanut butter and chocolate have been fused together in the base. I'm pretty stoked!

Limited Batch! Ben & Jerry's Flourless Chocolate Cake

On top of the five new flavors out right now,  Ben & Jerry's has also released the limited edition flourless chocolate cake. It's ok, I did a double take too. Flourless chocolate cake? I love desserts but I'm a little lost on this one ....to wikipedia!

So, here it is, Flourless Chocolate Cake : Chocolate Ice Cream with Pieces of Flourless Chocolate Cake & a Chocolate Frosting Swirl. The title doesn't have me but that description is winning me over. I crack open the container and Ben & Jerry's very dark chocolate ice cream is there waiting to greet me.
