Nosh or Not Speed Round

[New for 2026] I'm trying to clean up my phone a bit, so let me share four products that we've seen at the grocery stores these last couple of weeks. Let's start with last night's run in to Shaw's.

Magnum Dubai Chocolate Style Ice Cream Bars
pistachio & kadayif ice cream covered in milk chocolate with crunchy kadayif

Nice to see something new from Magnum these days. That said, I won't be bringing these home, but if given the option to try one, I certainly would. Who's had it?

Luigi's Mini Pops (with a boost!)

I definitely didnt have Italian Ice maker Luigi's pumping out four mini pops in 2026. I think the flavors are fairly unique (for them at least). In the photo you can see coconut lime (with added electrolytes), mango pineapple (with vitamin c), and blueberry lemon (with prebiotic fiber inulin). Apparently there is a strawberry watermelon (with electrolytes) flavor as well. $4.99 for a box of 8 small (1.5 fl oz) pops. I think I'd probably start with the watermelon one.

David Frozen Dessert

We were at Target last weekend when I spied 3 of the 4 David ice cream flavors in a freezer end cap. Only $8 here which beats the $15 a pint price on their website (which supposedly sold out super quick). Flavors are cookie dough, triple peanut butter, triple chocolate, and vanilla bean

Notice it's "frozen dessert", not "frozen dairy dessert". Makes me think of the early Arctic Zero days. Sweetened with Sucralose, Monk Fruit, and Stevia extract. No thank you.

Breakcup 2-in-1 Pint

Let's end on a fun note. We spied these at Wegmans and they would have joined us in the shopping cart if they included a spoon (though I just realized that we could have snagged spoons from the prepared food side of Wegmans). To me, these scream to be eaten on the way home. They just do (especially when on sale for $3.99 instead of their regular $5.49).

I'm thinking we would have went with the cookie dough / chocolate chip combo. There's also mint chocolate chip & chocolate fudge brownie, vanilla & chocolate, and then coffee & choc choc chip (ha, that's funny!).

I would check their website for more flavors, but I dont have a clear enough photo of the side of the container, and I cant google it because you basically just get break up results. I can tell you that half pint calories seem to be in the 370-390 range. That's 246-260 per 2/3 cup serving, which puts it in mainstream ice cream territory.

Let me know which ones you would nosh or not in the comments?
(and if you've already had it, even better!)
