brown sugar cookie dough and brown sugar topping in vanilla softserve
My wife dove in while I was still taking pictures, and she immediately had some concerns.
A few moments later, I dove in and I understood what was bothering her. If you've never had the tasty sugar cookie dough blizzard* or Ben & Jerry's bag of sugar cookie dough, you may not be prepared for the sugariness of frozen sugar cookie dough. Personally, I enjoy it, but I feel like I tend to enjoy it in small servings because it can be a bit much.
Overall, I liked the blizzard. The soft serve picks up a nice, mild brown sugar flavoring complete with a little bit of sugary grit. For whatever reason, I think it reminds me of a nice milkshake.
So much dough left over!
We did have to wait a moment for our blizzards, and I'm guessing it was because they were busy throwing an extra scoop of cookie dough into our cups... ok, I dont know if that was really why, but whoever made these blizzards was definitely heavy handed with the dough. That's not a complaint so much as a warning that you may not get this much dough in yours.
My wife won't be getting this one again, but I can see me getting it again (though probably after I have my yearly pumpkin blizzard). I would definitely get a small again too.... wait, what if you swapped the cookie dough for cheesecake bits? ...or maybe heath... or maybe.....
Verdict? enjoyable

*Note: the superman blizzard also had sugar cookie dough, but the frosted sugar cookie blizzard is far superior in my mind.
