We all know HD quality. Good ice cream surrounded by a nice, thick (but not magnum thick) chocolate coating. I expect nothing less from them and they delivered as always.

That said, do you know what sticks out most to me on this first sampling? The cherry flavor didn't really kick in until I was halfway through the bar.....

.....and then it kind of faded away again. The cherry swirl is deep in flavor, but there's just so little of it that only the center of the bar really gives you any kind of cherry kick.

Weird. I expected more cherry flavor in general and then a kick from the swirl. Well, at least that's what I always want from a cherry flavor. It's a little disappointing that things played out this way.

It's still a well made bar, but we'll see how I feel during the second bar.

On Second Scoop: Going slower definitely helps and I tried to focus on the cherry more than anything. The dark chocolate shell is nice, and the cherry vibe is nice, and I do like the bar, but I still wish that nice cherry vibe was stronger.

Verdict?  nice enough!
Buy Again?  at some point
