Ok, I went to DQ and got a mini of each. Apple is good, but Pumpkin is great. #VotePumpkin!
Nosh Show Episode 38 is also available for all your iTunes or MP3 listening pleasure. We've got several follow up items, waffles, pretzels, and cereal for nosh or not, and then our main topic takes us behind the scenes of our blogs once again. It's been awhile since we did a segment like that and it's always fun talking fans, trolls, and just living the blogger life. We even delve in to how many servings a container should be. Now this is all in general, but a super premium pint needs to be at least two servings, preferably 3 servings. If it's really good (or really fattening), you might want to savor it down to four servings. Trust me, I get wanting to just down the whole thing, especially if I'm bored or frustrated or want to freeze out a headache, but it's all about balance. Hey, if all else fails, just remind yourself how good the second half of the pint will taste tomorrow when you finish it. [Note: If you have a quart of mainstream ice cream (one with less fat and calories then a super premium ice cream), then it's ok to have bigger servings.]
Alright, enough rambling, it's resting time. Have a good week everyone!
I had to vote for Appple! he is a WA state (wenatchee) apple!
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity, have you ever had any success freezing soft serve style ice cream or blizzards and then eating them later??
ReplyDelete@Morgan: actually my old work tried this a few times, and it didnt go well. You can either eat it frozen with a weird texture, or you can try to let it melt but then it will get weird in a different way, I have an example here http://www.onsecondscoop.com/2013/10/dumb-question-can-you-freeze-milkshake.html
ReplyDeleteI haven't had success either :/ alas, was hoping you had some amazing secret!
