[New for 2026] Time to try the fourth of five new 2026 ice cream bars from Ben & Jerry's, though, some of us very vaguely remember them making a cookie dough bar at the beginning of this millenia. Anyway, we know this should be tasty, but let's dive into a box of....

To keep this short and sweet, I say..... meh.
Just like cookie dough was the weakest of the pint slices, it appears that it's also the weakest of these new ice cream bars.
Maybe I'm spoiled, but there's just no pop here. No component is trying to win me over. It's just doing it's meh thing and moving on.
Maybe I was in a meh mood when I grabbed this from the fridge the other day.... but as of a few minutes ago, my wife agrees that this one is a bit boring.
On Second Scoop: Let's get more specific, shall we? The shell is a nice dark chocolate, no complaints there, it's the filling inside that is misfiring a bit. There is plenty of cookie dough bits inside this particular bar which is cool, but it's hard to taste them over the chocolate. I think what this bar needs is more pizazz in the base ice cream. That would round this one out so that it'd be a good bar rather than just a good enough bar.
