Popsicle Blueberry Strawberry & Vanilla Fruit Twister

[New for 2020] So I've been sprinkling in these free samples from Unilever amongst my purchased product reviews and next up is something that I probably wouldn't have tried on my own. I've just never really gravitated towards this type of product, though I have enjoyed fruity treats when the mood strikes (usually in the summertime).

Popsicle Tootsie Pops Review

[New for 2015] Popsicle puts out a few new products every year and while I don't usually rush to try them, these new ones seem pretty unique.

Friday Night Fight
Popsicle brand Jell-o Pudding Pops

Housecleaning #5: Ok, who here is old enough to remember these?

photo courtesy of fourth grade nothing

I was preparing to do my tonight's post when I ran across this comparison from fourth grade nothing. Ally is right when she says that tonight's product is nothing like the original. The originals were just awesome. They were a nice, big, proud frozen pudding that was a great snack. I want to say I was a big fan of the vanilla & chocolate swirl ones. I can still remember ripping open a box (just wish I could find a picture of one... here is another post complaining about the new pops). Ok, enough reminscing.

Just like before we have 3 flavors. Chocolate, Vanilla, and Chocolate & Vanilla.

Popsicle Firecracker Super Heroes Review

Iron Man

Iron Man

Does whatever an Iron can

No ...wait ... that ain't right. My daughter got to pick this week's treat, and she's a big fan of knowing there is a box of popsicles in the freezer waiting for her. She got to go first the other day and tried a Spiderman pop. She wound up happy, but very very purply-blue. I decided to try one for myself last night so I went with Iron Man (if you haven't seen Iron Man, you should, it's a fantastic movie and lots of fun). My Iron Man pop was actually purple on top, black, then yellow on the bottom, unlike the picture, unless maybe they rotate. My opinion? It was cold. Seriously? It was ok. The flavors are pretty mild, makes me miss Welch's popsicles. It is kinda funky how the flavors are actually on top of each other, so there was a bit of yellow lemon underneath the middle section. I'm sure I'll try another one sooner or later.

Just another day playing with my food...

It was bad enough that the FedEx guy didn't ring the door bell so my wife knew he was here, meaning I had to take the long way home to get the goods (waiting for Monday delivery wasn't going to cut it), but the worst thing was the Popsicle Ice Cream Shots container busted open and went everywhere, plus there was only a little bit of dry ice left to play with, so I was going to have to get creative if I was going to salvage some fun out of the whole mess.

First try, VROOM VROOM

Second try...ok, I may have tried a little too hard, feelin' a smidge silly....

The bears go marching one by one, hoorah, hoorah...

Ok, that's enough, the fumes from the styrofoam container are rotting my brain...

Dubba's Note: I never actually saw Popsicle Ice Cream Shots make it to the store shelves.
