[New for Fall 2026] So there was an image circulating on social media that my wife sent to me, and it showed five very cute Kawaii Blizzard Buddies and I thought "this is gonna be awesome".
Not too long after that, we started seeing pictures of the real things and my urge to rush to DQ was greatly diminished.
We were finally in the mood for DQ, and because we didn't want to completely miss out on these, we headed out to pick up some blizzards and....
Blenda the Dairy Queen Blizzard Buddy
I have to ask: is it a buddy if it doesn't have a face?
The first image I saw may have been AI, but it's really good AI if it was. It sure looks real to me. There was only one thing about the image that caught my attention.
The original image and the real images all have the same character names: Blizabeth, Flip, Blenda, Brrrnie, and Goldie.
If the original was an early draft release, who decided to go from the adorable blizzards to what we got.
No, I did not try the Ube flavored Enchanted Blizzard while we were there, I went with my traditional yearly pumpkin blizzard purchase instead. It was good enough, but it was one of those trips were the softserve isnt very solid.
Did anyone else pick these up four dollar plushies? They weren't on the menu anywhere which seemed strange to me.
