One more NCM pint courtesy of our daughter. We've tried several others, so now it's time to try...

New City Microcreamery Tiramisu Ice Cream
mascarpone ice cream with espresso syrup soaked cookies and swirls of espresso cream

uh oh, filling issues! don't forget they are a small company and stuff happens
I decide to ignore the odd look and take a bite anyway... and I am glad I did, because this is tasty. I don't know if it tastes like tiramisu in particular, but it's definitely tasty.

Loving the giant fresh hunk of cake right here. It's a good counter to the coffee flavoring.
Thankfully the coffee flavor is not overpowering. I know I have softened a bit to coffee ice cream over the last two decades, but this is right about at my limit (I don't mean that negatively).
I expected to take one or two scoops and yet I've taken several. I think what's getting me is that it just tastes super fresh. Mix that with a nice complex flavor and I just want to keep scooping.
I'm getting the cake texture and the coffee flavor, but everything else going on is in the background. Not saying it's one note, just saying that's what is grabbing my attention.
I gotta run, but great first impression.
On Second Scoop: This is a fine, textured, coffee flavor, but I'm still not getting Tiramisu vibes... though I said that with the Ben & Jerry's Tiramisu as well. This pint will definitely get finished, and as long as you like coffee ice cream, you should like this one no problem >>> I've just eating this one a few bites at a time. I like it, but a few bites is enough for me. I've also tried mixing it with other things like the Jeni's sugar cookie flavor, but it still dominates.
Verdict? well done overall
BuyAgain? not my thing
