Cool Jacks Jack Attack Ice Cream Sandwiches

Man, I have been waiting almost 8 months to try another Cool Jacks ice cream sandwich. Their Super Jack ice cream sandwich was the last lunchtime treat I bought before the pandemic forced me to work from home. Man it's been a crazy year! Let's see if it was worth the wait!

This is actually the second sandwich I pulled from the bag. The first one was tasty, but it looked like it got sat on. It looks like an egg mcmuffin right?

Top view of the taste cookies that make up this sandwich (though it's a bit more yellow in this picture than it is in real life). I do love love things covered in cinnamon!

I take my first big bite and it's good! I will admit that it's a bit... I'm not sure what a good word for it will be. It's not too salty thankfully. I was to say there is a surprising amount of sweetness from the filling, but there's also a bit of... ahhhh, iunno what to call it. Hopefully it will come to me when I devour the second sandwich tomorrow.

While I was too busy stuffing my face to discern the specifics, do know that the combo works well. I really like the cookies they use. They must have spent a good amount of time dialing in these cookies. Not to soft, not too hard. Chewy enough but not sticky. Feels cold without being frozen. You don't have to wait 10 minutes for the cookies to become pliable enough to eat. I mean, sure, waiting another minute or two wouldn't have hurt, but when I see a cookie like this, I don't want to wait!

So yeah, another tasty sandwich from Cool Jacks. On my way home from my early run to Wegmans, I started beating myself up for not buying a second flavor. Now that I've had this one, I feel all the more silly for not buying two!

On Second Scoop: Just as tasty on day two. Tried to analyze it a bit more this time but was kind of busy just trying to take smaller bites to stretch out the enjoyment. Nice cookies with an appropriate filling. Plenty of flavor. Good size too (not a fan of 500+ calorie sandwiches).

Verdict?  kind of reminds me of cereal!
Buy Again?  yup!
