Homemade Brand Santa's Cookies Ice Cream

[By Nick]
T’was the night before Christmas and heard all through the house,
was young Nicholas’ stomach rumbling, he needed ice cream in his mouth.

Nicholas went to satisfy that noisy hunger
but choosing a flavor was turning into a blunder.

No simple vanilla or chocolate would do, those flavors are so bogus.
Thankfully Nicholas was a good boy this year and the elves at Homemade Brand took notice.

See, the elves have been busy throughout the year
creating a flavor they knew would bring cheer.

It’s a well-known fact that Santa loves a good cookie,
but when it comes to ice cream, he’s also no rookie.

So the head elf said “Why don't we combine the two?
            Sugar cookie ice cream is well overdue!”

As the midnight hour grew near,
a bright red package did magically appear.

Young Nicholas couldn’t believe his eyes,
“Santa’s Cookies in my freezer? What a wonderful surprise!”

Nicholas dashed to grab both a bowl and a spoon,
he knew that this ice cream had to be consumed.

As he scooped the ice cream into his bowl with great care,
the smell of sugar cookies began to fill the night air.

“Could this be a Christmas miracle?” he did proclaim.
“Would this ice cream truly live up to its name?”

Without hesitation, Nicholas took his first taste.
Then not soon after did a smile appear on his face.

“They did it!” Nicholas shouted out with great joy.
“This flavor will be loved by every little girl and little boy.”

The taste of sugar and butter is hard to resist,
But it's that hint of vanilla that makes this a flavor not to be missed.

The three flavors emulated a sugar cookie to a T.
Oh how young Nicholas was overcome with such glee.

The flavor wasn’t only coming from the base;
there were sugar cookie pieces throughout that added to the taste.

Not too soft or too crisp,
these sugar cookie pieces were simply sheer bliss.

Not to be forgotten at all,
the red and green frosting swirls were right on the ball.

As red as Rudolph’s nose and as green as a Christmas tree,
oh the frosting swirls were quite a sight to see.

They were sugary sweet but not overly so;
those festive streaks would make even Santa yell “Ho-Ho-Ho!”

The combination of sugar cookies and frosting was such a delight.
Nicholas kept saying to himself “come on, just one more bite.”

When it comes to Holiday flavors, this is one of the best.
oh how Nicholas had to control himself from finishing the rest.

His satisfied stomach was ready to explode;
there would be no room for cookies a la mode.

And what happened, then? Well, in Ice Cream Land they say
that Nicholas' small stomach grew three sizes that day.

And then the true potential of sugar cookies came through,
and Nicholas found the appetite of ten Santas, plus two!

And then Nicholas said before taking his last bite,
“Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight.”
