Wegman's Crème Brule Ice Cream

So the selection at Wegman's is respectable, but it's not amazing. It's not like I had a gazillion name brand newer options to choose from. So, I decided to pick up a few Wegman's options as well. I've been having trouble telling what I'm hungry for recently, so let's try...

Yeti Frozen Custard Review

So, this review is going to start with two apologies. One is to Yeti Frozen Custard as they sent these free samples over five weeks ago (their website is here). I was fairly quick to try them but logistics got in the way of the actual post. The second apology is to everyone who grew up with frozen custard because frozen custard just isn't really a thing in the northeast. I know eggs are a factor and that it shouldn't be drastically different from other things I've tried for the blog, but please forgive my lack of experience here. Now, without further ado, let's try....

Edy's Strawberry Shortcake Frozen Custard

[2015-2016] Alright, final frozen custard review from me for a while. There is one more flavor to cover but it's in Nick's freezer. To be honest, I'm kind of glad this journey is at an end.

Saturday Night Quart Fight
Turkey Hill Gelato vs Edy's Frozen Custard

[Both 2015-2016] Alrighty folks, it's time for a Friday Saturday night fight. And we're going to do it a little different this time. Not that there are any rules, but this particular fight is going to be based on size, quarts in particular. That's right, with main stream companies dumping premium quart sized products on us, it seemed like a good time to (hopefully) help us know the difference between....

Edy's Snickerdoodle Frozen Custard

[2015-2016] With four Edy's frozen custard choices before me, I was a little lost on which one to choose... but then, as I reached for the salted caramel pretzel, the orange shield of snickerdoodle jumped in front of me. Ahhh, it's going to be a good night, isn't it?

Edy's Mint Cookies 'N Cream Frozen Custard

[2015-2016] Despite my unpleasant experience with the chocolate malt yesterday, I still have high hopes for the next of six new Edy's frozen custards .

Edy's Chocolate Malt Frozen Custard

[2015-2016] I said I was pretty excited about these new frozen custards because I see it as another step Edy's / Dreyer's is taking towards reclaiming their legacy.

AICC-2: Gilles Butter Pecan Frozen Custard Review

Would you believe that I've never tried Butter Pecan ice cream? seriously, I don't think I have, or if i have, it was once and a very long time ago. It's just one of those flavors that can get my attention. Well, leave it to the Ice Cream Club to finally get me to try it by including Gilles Butter Pecan Frozen Custard.

Opening up the container, you are greeted by the aroma of fresh pecans. I can't say custard looks terribly different than "regular" ice cream.
