Friday Night Fight with
Yoplait & TCBY Peach Greek Frozen Yogurt

[by Nick, discontinued] IT’S TIIIIMMMEEEE for my first ever Friday Night Fight! What better way to celebrate National Peach Month than with a fight between two peach frozen greek yogurts. Tonight’s competitors are both relative newcomers to the freezer isle. In my opinion, peaches are one of the most underutilized mainstream fruits when it comes to frozen desserts. Besides Ben & Jerry’s Peach Cobbler and Haagen-Dazs Spiced Peach Crumble, no other flavors come to mind. I’m glad to see that they’re getting some love with this greek frozen yogurt trend though. Time for the introductions!

In the left corner, weighing in at a light (non-fat) 100 calories and 6 grams of protein per 69 gram serving is TCBY Peach greek frozen yogurt.

In the right corner, coming in at a hefty (low-fat) 130 calories and 7 grams of protein per 89 gram serving is Yoplait Peach frozen greek yogurt.

TCBY Greek Frozen Yogurt
Black Raspberry and Pomegranate Blueberry

[New for 2013, discontinued] When TCBY debuted their new frozen yogurt products last year, how long did you really think it would be before they debuted some kind of greek line up as well? Well, I've been walking by them on store shelves for a few months now, so let's take a peak at what I finally purchased.

I debated it for a few minutes, but in the end I decided to go with my beloved black raspberry and then chased that with blueberry & pomegranate (I know, you probably expected me to go strawberry).

TCBY Frozen Yogurt Strawberry Swirl Bars Review

[New for 2012] If ever there was a review that was forgotten, it's this one right here. These bad boys were in the 4 year anniversary photo and I have no excuse for why it's taken a year to post the pictures. It's not these are bad, I actually kind of like them, I just never put them up, so my apologies to all.

A box is (6) 2.75 fluid ounce TCBY strawberry swirl bars

TCBY Supreme Cookies & Cream Frozen Yogurt

[By Nick, New for 2012] After a recommendation on my TCBY Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough review, I’ve been on the lookout for their Supreme Cookies & Cream flavor. After a long search, I finally found myself a pint behind a bunch of other TCBY flavors. The commenter said that this product was amazing and similar to an Oreo Blizzard from DQ. Seeing as I live nowhere near a DQ, I’ve never had one before. I guess I’ll just have to take their word for it and just use my childhood memories of a Oreo Mcflurry as a reference.

TCBY describes this one by bluntly stating that this pint includes “chocolate sandwich cookie pieces throughout rich low fat vanilla frozen yogurt.” Nothing too shocking for a cookies and cream flavor but what exactly makes it supreme? This thing better have tons of cookies in it to live up to its name. That or the chunks need to be gigantic. I guess we’ll just have to find out then.

TCBY Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough Frozen Yogurt

[By Nick] I have a confession to make: I have never been to a TCBY. Sure I've been to various soft serve froyo places but I've never tried the self-proclaimed country’s best yogurt. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against TCBY. It's just that up until recently, there hasn't been a TCBY even remotely close to me.

I still haven't visited this new store but I've noticed that their products are showing up more and more in the freezer aisle. Seeing as how I should at least give them a shot, I decided to pick up a pint of their cookie dough frozen yogurt.

TCBY classic vanilla sandwiches
A Frozen Yogurt Treat Review

[New for 2012] I have an addiction that I haven't mentioned in awhile: I love ice cream sandwiches. I mean I LOVE a good old fashion ice cream sandwich. Even a half decent one always inspires me to eat a second one....
thing is

these do not inspire me to eat a second one

These are the new TCBY frozen yogurt classic vanilla sandwiches and they are terrible, like TERRIBLE terrible. (hold on, I need to go rinse my mouth out)
