7-Eleven Pepsi Black Cherry Slurpee

[New for Jan 2017] I missed the cherry vanilla slurpee that came out last January, but I'm not missing this cherry cola one... mainly because there's a giant sign for it staring me in the face!

7-11 Pepsi-Cola with Real Sugar Black Cherry Slurpee

That's right, this one isn't just Pepsi, it's Pepsi-Cola with real sugar.... though I don't know why you would bother mixing real sugar Pepsi with what I thought was artificial cherry flavor. There is this crazy strong slimy funk that is left on your tastebuds after you take several sips of this beast. You know how I always talk about a "clean tasting" ice cream, one that just melts off your taste buds because it's not bogged down by gums and stabilizers? This is the opposite of that.

This might be the slimiest slurpee I've ever had. I can't stress that enough. The first couple of sips hit you with this weird lollipop like flavor but you press on because you don't want to waste. I'm currently debating if this is the worst slurpee I've ever had, though it's probably comes in second after the purple vanilla one.

Verdict?  so slimy
Buy Again?  nope

  1. I wanted to try this yesterday when I was in 7-11 but when I pulled for it to come out it was like liquid, not thick at all I wasn't sure if that's how it was meant to be or if something was wrong with the machine so I passed, but I kind of want to go back and try it again anyways!

  2. I bet the red "not ready" light was blinking, but no worries, I don't always notice it either. If you try it, be sure to check back in!

  3. Best Slurpeek. I've ever had. Author is crazy "slimy" what are you talking about. I drank about 10 before they disappeared.....Slimy came no where near my vocabulary as a description

  4. the tell of a misleading opinion: saying something is the "best" because you bought it a bunch of times but failing to point out a single reason why it's the "best". flavor? sweetness? you already love slurpees in general? you love fake sweeteners?
