Ben & Jerry's Straw-Bae Shortcake Sundae

sweet cream ice cream with shortcake cookies & strawberry swirls, topped with strawberry-swirled whipping topping & shortcake crumble

It certainly looks fun enough (even if it doesn't fill the container)

I take my first bite and I like it. Big shock, right?

Wait, I forgot the sundae lineup doesn't have the hard topping like the topped lineup. That explains why I'm not wearing crumb topping (yet).

First concern popping up. I'm not really seeing the swirl in the base ice cream. The base is good and the cookies are fine, but it's a bit one note without the strawberry (and I do love strawberry).

My brain is thinking about cream cheese right now. It happens depends on the components.

Ok, i found a bit of light swirl at the bottom. It's real thin, but it's there.

I do like these shortcake cookies. They've got the perfect texture for blending in to a premium ice cream.

This will be a two serving container. Half now, half tomorrow.

I couldnt get a good shot in the container, so I took it out!

So, I definitely like this one, but discontinued strawberry topped tart was definitely better because it popped more.

On Second Scoop: This is a fine flavor, but I don't love it. It feels like it gets sweeter every time I try it. This one really needs something to balance it out.

[This just leaves the PB Blondie Bestie Sundae that I haven't tried. Not sure when I'll get to that one]

Verdict?  fine, but could use a kicker
Buy Again?  leaning no-ish
