Finally had this one as a mowing snack. My first thought was "did these get smaller?" [if you want to get technical, the strawberry butter cone was 83g, and this cone is 84g. both are listed as 3.7 fluid ounces]

I nosh through the top half of the treat and it's fine I guess. Maybe my strawberry sense still aren't back to 100%

I get to the cone part and it's definitely easier to eat that the old butter cookie cone. It was crunchy, and crunchy is good.

I continue on and everything is fine.

I didn't think much of the raspberry sauce until the very end, and not in a good way. I do love raspberry, that's what kind of jelly I put on my toast, but a big gooey gob of potent raspberry sauce at the end of a cone is not fun. Maybe if it had been like half as much it would have worked, but woah, too much!

On Second Scoop: It's now six weeks past the best buy date, but I should be able to taste better now.... Ok, here's my final 2 cents. Overall, it's a fine product, but I personally think that the sauce is too strong while the ice cream is too mellow. Maybe they are going for the whole contrast thing, but I would much prefer that the two components were closer in flavoring. I don't want the huge jump, especially since you get hit by the sauce at the beginning, there's a lull, and then you get slammed by the sauce again with the final bite. If you've had these, which is your favorite flavor?

Verdict?  flavoring wavers too much for me
Buy Again?  I'll try a different flavor next time
