Guess what? I finally found a Tillamook flavor that I really, really like! To stave off the ice cream boredom I feel at my local grocery stores, I've been picking up various flavors of Tillamook. I had seriously considered giving up on them, but I pressed on, and now finally I can sing the praises of one of their flavors. Let's check out....
Tillamook White Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream

That's not exactly inspiring, but at least it's full!
How about that? The swirl is thin, but the base has a nice white chocolate coloring.

Now my first sampling of this was actually in these silly ice cream sandwiches that I made with the ICEE cookies I overpaid for at Price Chopper (they may seem amusing, but were definitely not worth $7). Anyway, while I was sampling the sandwiches, it dawned on me that I might really like this ice cream.
What's winning me over? Two things. One, it reminds me of one of my all time favorite Haagen-Dazs flavors, the mighty white chocolate raspberry truffle (one demerit if you've never tried it!). Two, this flavor actually has a more normal heft to it. It doesn't feel as light as all of the other flavors that I've tried from them.
I might still be in shock at liking this one.
On Second Scoop: And now it's gone! I had this one every day until it's gone, and now I need more. Not every store has it, but next time I see it, I'm getting two containers!
Parting thought: I know some will say "but it doesn't have any mix-ins", and that's fine, because they aren't wrong, but that doesn't mean that this one still isn't enjoyable. If you really need a mix-in, just throw in your own.

Quit your day job. I don’t know how you managed to make “gorgeous” ice cream sandwiches, but “Dang!” You could make a pretty penny selling those for Valentine’s Day, Christmas, or add some blue sprinkles for the 4th. Love It, Dubba!

Terrible flavor. White chocolate ice cream was wicked sweet. Hardly any raspberry. Do t buy it. So disappointed.
