S'mores Oreos and the Nosh Show Episode 56

Good morning Nosh Show listeners! Today we dish up episode 56 and the highlight is Marvo's amazing ability to edit out a large percentage of my childish behavior (and rambling). Ahhh, that man is a editing genius. Now don't worry, much our shenanigans remain and I hope you laugh with us (you'll know what I mean when you get near the end of the episode).

Also available on iTunesStitcher, and MP3

We do cover the new S'mores Oreo and after the show I realized something. Every single opinion I've heard on them is different. I don't think any things they are bad, but one person gets too much graham, another gets too much chocolate, another doesn't get enough of anything. There is always going to be some discrepancy between opinions (this blog proves that everyday), but it's funny to see it here.

To me, they aren't epic, but I am enjoying them. If you want to spice things up, make a double stuff/triple wafer combo (the one on the right in the picture). It's got a nice balance. Sure, technically it wastes a wafer, but just save them and then crush them over a sundae later on.

Alright, have a good week everyone!

  1. personally, i didn't taste any graham. they are definitely good, but i wouldn't be too upset if i never ate them again, lol. reese's are still my number one - well, maybe tied with the golden lemon oreos :)

  2. I tasted a little of everything. I only really noticed it when I ate the graham and filling separately. I think they are fun to try but I won't be buying them again. Double stuff golden, lemon and pb are my top 3

  3. Trader Joes Vanilla Bean ones FTW! Oreo is trying to hard now adays. They are like the taco bell of cookies. Lets try another gimmick. Cotton Candy wasn't bad. However their regular cookies still taste like crisco.

  4. Saw the new lemon filling with chocolate cookie limited edition at my grocery store today. Small package like the other limited editions.

@Thelcon, I miss living near a TJ's and being able to buy the Joe Joe's. They have a very different flavor than oreo's but so good!

  5. Havent had Joe Joe's in awhile but I picked up a pack of Back to Nature Oreos for the first time in forever and they taste better than I remember, almost a graham vibe to the wafers.
