[New for end of 2014] Oh, for the love of Pete, did I lose another review? I swear I had notes on this one.... where did it.... Oh, nevermind. I remember the main points, plus I still have some left.

Let's just jump right to the money shot because if you need a chocolate fix, this one will try very hard to satisfy it. In fact, I'm not sure if it tries a little too hard. It's a fine product, don't get me wrong, but it very much reminds me of their dark chocolate noir sorbetto. In my mind I expected a rich milk chocolate, not deep cocoa. I know, I know, it's nitpicking, you just need to be aware of it before diving in to this one.

Truffle Shot (I feel like I should say something clever here)

On Second Scoop: Oh for the love of all that is frozen, did I lose my second scoop notes too? Seriously? Why is nothing written here. I give up on this one, I really do.... hold on.... I still have a little left in the back of the freezer... just let me.... BAHAHAHAHA! I just dug in to a big pile of brownie pieces. I was going to mention that I didn't feel like I could tell the difference between the two (*because I eat too fast), but sure enough there's at least a half dozen half inch brownie squares at the bottom of this container, they're tasty too. It definitely changes the dynamic of this one. It's a shame the whole pint couldn't be a 50/50 ratio between gelato and brownie... and some whip cream.... and some hot fudge....

Verdict?  wish it had been milk chocolate
