Edwards Singles Hot Molten Lava Chocolate Cake with Creamy Ice Cream

First we tried the new Chocolate Chip singles, but now it's time to try the free sample of the Molten Lava Chocolate Cake (the one that I'm guessing is a mirror of hot fudge brownie.

2 Cake Batter Bowls with 2 Chocolate Chip & Butter Fudge Topped Ice Cream Cups. There's that "butter fudge" term again.

Cool! Nice touch with the candy bit in the middle.
That explains why they call it "Molten Lava" chocolate Cake.

Cooked up and ready to go! It's a good size too, look how it filled the bowl.

The ice cream is on, let's get sampling!

Ok, the first few bites are a little rough here. It's not a nasty taste, it's just that the cake is a bit dry. Thankfully, I got use to it and the treat really started to hit a nice stride as I picked up the pace and dug in. It finished well and I could almost say that I could have gone for a bit more, but then I would be ignoring the fact that these things are pretty filling (at over 4oz a piece)

I could describe each part in detail but I don't want to sound like a broken record by saying what I always say about Edwards. These are a complete budget snack meaning they will fill you, they are a complete sundae (shy of some whip cream), it's just that they aren't made with the best of ingredients. You can only do so much for just over a buck a treat. It's not the best brownie or the best sauce or the best ice cream, but these continue to be a decent fun treat to have for snacking emergencies.

If I had to take a guess, I'm thinking the old hot fudge brownie is a goner because this one presents better and pretty sure it tastes better too.

(Sorry for the quick review, but I'm trying to get caught up)
