Dairy Queen Caramel Toffee Cookie Blizzard
vanilla softserve blended with chewy cookie pieces, buttery toffee and golden caramel
My first thought is: these chewy cookie pieces are pretty chewy.
My second thought is: when does the toffee kick in?
Overall, it has a nice flavor that is enjoyable, but I would prefer that the toffee factor was may more present in this particular blizzard (remember, every blizzard can be different). That said, the chewy cookies are not working for me. It's just a bit too much.
I hate to say this, but look at how many cookie bits I didnt eat at the end of my blizzard, and guess what? They aren't fun enough or flavorful enough to eat on their own.
Now to wrap up the negatives. The softserve must have been mid-freezing cycle because my blizzard was liquid by the time I got to the bottom. I literally drank the last inch of blizzard. That didn't help win me over.
So, not a bad blizzard by any means, but I definitely didnt get the best version of this blizzard. Hopefully you have better luck then I did. As for me, I'll probably try the maple cookie shake before trying this blizzard again.
