I know banana ice cream isn't really my thing, but I'd be tempted to try this one if I could. If anyone out there has had it or is going to get it, let the rest of us know how it is!
I haven't had it, but my brother and my mom, who meet for lunch and ice cream once a week, both tried it at Baskin Robbins. They said the banana base tasted like artificial banana flavoring, heavy on the artificial and light on the banana. It's a shame, because banana ice cream done right can be really good.
ReplyDeleteI tried it in Dallas. Agreed with Allie B’s mom! This should be a flavor up my alley, but for me the banana was bad and the Oreo and PB are too dissonant.
