[New for Early 2023] I did mention finding both flavors, and after the
bit of spiciness with Churray for Churros!, I was looking for something a
bit more tame.
Ben & Jerry's Lights! Caramel! ACTION! Ice Cream

No bits, but I do dig the coloring here.
It let's you know that good things are coming.
Two giant cookie dough gobs and caramel swirl everywhere.
Simply put, this one is excellent. Cookie dough is a classic flavor, and this
takes it up two notches with the two swirls. The overall flavor profile works
really well. It's nothing crazy, but instead rounds up and elevates what might
seem like a simple idea.
The cookie dough enhances the base while the base enhances the cookie dough.
There's not one or the other. Instead, each piece makes the other piece
better. I really dig this flavor.
Did their cookie dough get bigger? Or is it bigger just in this flavor? I was
easily breaking up the cookie dough across multiple scoops so that I could
stretch out this excellent combo. Maybe it's just the fact that I haven't had one of their flavors that focused on the cookie dough in a long time.
Well done on this one, I just wanted to keep scooping.
On Second Scoop: I will stress again that I feel that a subset
of people will definitely classify this one as nothing special. That said,
there is just something unique about the way these flavors come together. I
still can't quite put my finger on it, but the caramel + graham + cookie
dough makes for a something that I find very interesting. Maybe one of you can quantify it better, but just know that I recommend trying this one.
Verdict? I like it! and so does the Mrs!

It’s a B&J comfort flavor. “Let’s put - bunch of stuff we know works into one flavor”! They were smart to add three mix-ins, two would have made it a let down. I feel like that’s where. they missed the mark with the Chance the Rapper flavor.
ReplyDeleteIt isn’t anything “special” but it’s good and a choice you could buy multiple times and know it won’t let you down. Guess I should stock up before it’s gone :)
