In a freezer aisle far, far away.....

Sorry for minimal posts recently. Things are busy are work but boring in the freezer aisle, so it's pretty much just me mixing in reviews of free Serendipity samples with other misc things that I pick up at the store. Other than looking for the new King Leo Peppermint flavor from Dolcezza, there's not a whole lot going on right now. Wait, that's not true, I did stumble on one new thing!

Star Wars Millennium Falcon Ice Cream Sandwiches

I was thinking these looked familiar and then someone on instagram chimed in that they remind them of the old WWF pops (I have an image here). Will I buy these 6 vanilla sandwiches at a cost of $5.00 a box? I say probably not because this is yet another unbranded Nestle Dreyers (Edys) treat made with their signature cheap light ice cream....

Ahhhh, ok, I'll probably give in at some point so that I can save the box.

  1. Do you even need to keep them in the freezer, cause they're already too cool. oooh, freeza burn!

  3. I loved the WWF ice cream sandwiches! They are one of the most underrated frozen novelties to be discontinued. It was my go-to treat when the ice cream man came around our block in the summer, so I remember how they look and tasted even though that was decades ago. Based on the picture on the box, they look similar to those sandwiches and if they nailed the flavor, I will be glued to these. But first, I will wait for the reviews.

  4. Lots of new stuff happening, but you really have to search for them and spend some $$$. Jeni's has a Pumpkin Cake Roll and a Brandy Gingerbread flavor, both of which I had to make the trek to one of the few scoop shops. Honestly, for the work I put into it, not worth it. But Coolhaus has Pumpkin Cheesecake and Gingerbread, at Whole Foods, that IS worth the trip.

  5. I don't know if four hard to find flavors counts as "lots".... come on, you knew I was going to point that out. Also, I hate going to whole foods. Like a lot :)
