2018 Frozen Product Guide

Ok, I now this is supposed to go up at the beginning of the year, but I had this dumb idea to try and work really hard on it this year. What happened was that I kept gathering more and more pictures which made the task of finishing this guide harder and harder. I'm not even sure it's done now. Arctic Zero Light Ice Cream

Alrighty, time for a round up of all but one of the new Arctic Zero light ice cream. No I'm not skipping the Cookies & Cream flavor I already tried, I'm actually skipping the peanut butter flavor. See, Arctic Zero's PR firm offered to ship over free samples of their entire line up. Considering that I'm am a little curious about the flavors I can't find, I said yes!

Turkey Hill Caramel Brownie Overload

["Returning" for 2018] Turkey Hill did a flavor contest last year (something akin to march madness) and the winner was Caramel Brownie Overload ICE CREAM. Why do I do all caps like that? Because I am a stickler for details and if people voted for an ice cream to return, it shouldn't come back as a frozen dairy dessert. Right?

Cold Stone Creamery Caramel Dessert Topping

So, why am I randomly reviewing one of the cold stone toppings? Well, it was on sale ofcourse! That and there is no caramel in my fridge or cabinet right now. I do like having caramel in my house but in general caramel sauces tend to be a bit hard to manage as a daily topping. I know that sounds lazy, but I don't want to have to pour some in a cup, microwave it to loosen it up, pour it on my ice cream, and then clean up the extra cup. Sundae Syrup doesn't have this issue, but I do like to try other brands from time to time. So, let's pour on some....

Steve's Ice Cream Returns

[Returning from the Brink] So, there hasn't been a review of Steve's on the blog since 2015. While we do have 11 reviews here, I technically wrote just one of them and added a footnote to another because Nick's local selection was way better than the four flavors I could find around me. I say that because it's not that we wanted to stop reviewing Steve's, it's that they filed for bankruptcy in February 2017. They were scooped up by Dean Foods for a mere million bucks which seems like a steal but what do I know. (Remember that Dean Foods owns a bunch of ice cream brands including Friendly's).
