Haagen-Daz Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge
Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert Bars

[New for 2018] I don't know about you, but I was surprised by the expansion of Haagen-Daz's non-dairy lineup. Granted it feels like they are trying to act like the whole line up is new, but I was not expecting them to add Trio and a bar to their non-dairy game. I applaud them for not going at non-dairy as a side thought to snag a few dollars, they are bringing legitimate products to market. I actually had to debate if I wanted to try the non-dairy peanut butter Trio or these...

Ha, considering the wrapper size, I expecteda little bigger.

Wow, I can barely tell the difference. Yeah, it tastes a little different, but the chocolate shell definitely distracts for the most part. I didn't really notice until I stopped eating and there was a bit of an odd aftertaste. It kind of reminded me of those yasso peanut butter bars.

I do wish there was a little something extra here, but I dont know what that would be. I guess I want a little bit of a crunchy/salty factor but I know that's probably asking a lot... though they have bars with bits in the chocolate, so I would love to see that here. Give me that x-factor to turn this from impressive to amazing.

On Second Scoop: These things really are impressive. I focused a bit more on the nice dark chocolate shell and a little less on that peanut butter oil whatever that doesn't usually jive with my particular set of taste buds. I still don't think most people would know the difference on these. I have just one parting thought: I'm a little surprised these don't have more protein per serving.

Verdict?  impressive
Buy Again?  maybe!
