Taco Bell MTN Dew Baja Blast Freeze
and The Nosh Show Episode 9

Hello Nosh Nation! It's going to be an interesting week in real life, but that's not why your here is it? No no, you want to talk food don't you? Well, good, because it's Nosh Show Monday. Go to the Nosh Show website to listen here! Time for me to be the troublemaker as always, hehehe. No, but seriously, at the bottom of this review is a nice teaser photo of some of the stuff we covered in the show this week. We'll also dig into my sadness over Eric (and not me) getting a Turkey Hill Dairy tour and eating ice cream fresh off the line.... grrrrrr..... not that I still don't like Eric and Turkey Hill, I just really wanted to go too!!

Taco Bell MTN Dew Baja Blast Freeze (and double steak quesadilla)

So where did I go between shows? Well, Ryan talked about the double steak quesadilla so positively that I decided to make my first trip to Taco Bell in a very, very long time. My old high school buddy was mocking me for going to Taco (B)ell, but after seeing the photos, he decided to meet me for lunch and try it as well.

Did I like it? Yeah, it was fun, it's nice and soft and I kept thinking I tasted lasagna. I also kept wearing it like the taco bell noob that I am. You know, it's a lot bigger than it looks (you can only see half of it in the picture above). I was full after about 3/4's of the way through and I didn't even really eat the flavorless chips that came with it. I don't know if I would rush out to buy it again, but I'm definitely glad I tried it.

I had to get something frozen with my meal, so I went with the Taco Bell MTN Dew Baja Blast Freeze. It had a decent generic lime taste with a bit of carbonated bite. Overall it's just ok since unfortunately it kind of tastes watered down. If you look close, you can see the liquid separating from the ice. I just dont' remember that ever happening with an ICEE or a Slurpee. Oh well, at least it was cold!

Alright, enjoy the show everybody!

  1. Another great episode! I too wish I was invited to Turkey Hill that day, especially because they're my favorite brand and I live in NW NJ so it's not terribly far. :( We really need to do a blog field trip!
