Topping of the Week: BACON

Between the limited edition Freezer Burns Bacon Blizzard, the Jack-in-the-Box Bacon Shake, and the Maple Bacon Sundae from Denny's, do you ever get the feeling you are missing something? Don't get me wrong, I adore bacon. I've had more than my fair share of short stacks with a side of bacon as a kid, but it all just seems so weird. I'm old school and not very adventurous, so I am fearful.

To my pleasant surprise, it didn't taste bad at all. In fact, despite the ratio you see on my spoon, all I really tasted was the tasty chocolate ice cream with a bit of a funky texture to it. I only did this for two bites, but now I understand all those comments about needing a lot of bacon in your sundae. My only suggestion for next time is to make the bacon crunchier to see how that goes.

Moral of the story : don't be afraid
