Haagen-Dazs FIVE Strawberry Ice Cream Review

Discontinued as of 2012 (may have happened sooner)

It's really tough being a blogger, mainly because it doesnt pay anything.... heheheh, but seriously. Always trying to find something new yet satisfying means I need to learn how to really tune in to what I am hungry for at that moment. Yeah, ok, that's just a fancy way of saying I'm spoiled and bore easily.

Anyway, I'm at the store and at a loss as to what I want.... well, I want a chocolate milkshake, but the grocery store doesn't have those. Well, for whatever reason, some on sale Strawberry Five ice cream caught my eye.

COMMENCE LIVE BLOGGING

Just five ingredients.

mmmm, the smell of fresh strawberries
(there is a smidge of freezer damage on the edge)

I actually havent had any ice cream in a few days (at least 2, maybe 3 or 4), so this should be interesting

mmm, tasty, very strawberries & cream tasting (as it should)

I was hoping for strawberry chunks but i see none

ok, im having trouble telling this from the regular h-d strawberry

hmmm, just not sure what to say. it's excellent of course. it's got that typical thick H-D texture.

wow, this is the most boring review ever (phone ringing)

it's strawberry and it's very well made, what else can I say

OWWWW, brain freeze, time to stop

On Second Scoop: Despite being in the funny scent work freezer for ten days, this pint still has good flavor to it. I still think it's really well made and I any fruit flavor fan will like it.... ooooowwww brain freeze again, this stuff is dangerous. I want to say there's just a hint of something not quite right about it. I don't want to say it's bad, it's just... different, like the other five flavors. Let's put it this way: It's a fine flavor, but I don't foresee purchasing this again.
