Scoop It Forward

So many people were mad that "evil" Walmart got there hands on an exclusive flavor, but something tells me they won't be nearly as mad (hopefully) about two new Target exclusive flavors. Firefox just updated to 3.6.4, so for the heck of it, I plugged "ice cream" into the persona finder. What did I find? this persona. "Scoop it forward"? "Together for a Sweet Cause"? What is this? Time to go digging.

I've never seen these two flavors before: Berry Voluntary and Brownie Chew Gooder. The site mentions scoopitforward.com, but going there informs one to go to www.volunteermatch.org/scoopitforward/.

What to do: Go to volunteer match, plug in your zip code, find a volunteer opportunity you like, and submit your details. You will then receive a coupon via email for a free pint of the new flavors, and you can pass that coupon on to five friends so they can get free ice cream.

If you don't have time to volunteer, you can still head to Target to check out the new flavors.

Berry Voluntary: raspberry cheesecake flavored ice cream laced with white chocolate chunks and raspberry swirls (my review here)

Brownie Chew Gooder:  vanilla caramel ice cream with fudge brownie pieces, finished with a caramel swirl (my review here)

Now it says they these two flavors will be available for the rest of the year in both pints and mini cups, so I'm thinking these little guys will make a great lunch time dessert in the very near future.

It also mentioned that there are only a limited number of free coupons and that after that you will get a $1 off coupon instead. Check out the press release for more details. Who knew that target gives 5% of it's income back to the community? That's more than $3 million a week! Nice!

Remember to check back here as I try to get these new flavors on the site soon (Probably not today or tomorrow, but hopefully next week sometime).

  1. If they create one more delicious flavor that I don't have access to, I am going to lose it.

  2. What's up with these exclusive flavors! I wish they would at least advertise them. I mean there's no mention of it on B&J's facebook page or in their flavors section of the website. Ah well, thank goodness for your blog. Now I must head to Target.
