I am a very big proponent of a nice healthy breakfast. Two smaller breakfasts also work. Case in point, I get very cranky if I don't get my morning OJ as soon as I wake up. I may have a little something with it like a piece of toast. I go get ready for work and then I come grab my real breakfast. It could be cereal, something toasted, or something from the freezer, it all depends how quickly I'm trying to get out the door. Well, at 6 AM I wanted something from the freezer, and it wasn't waffles.
At first I thought I wanted a Milky Way, not sure why, I think because it's been so long. Then I realized I was dieing for one of those Breyer's Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches. It may have only been just after 6 AM, but it hit the spot! It was a great way to start my long commute. (The timing puts it way before my pre-8AM summertime snack)
I do have a confession to make though. Even with my well honed snacking skills, I still get thrown off by the over abundance of leftover Halloween candy. I try hard to pace myself, but for whatever reason, that Milky Way was still calling from my snack drawer a few hours later. I ate it about 15 minutes ago and regret it. I should have waited.
