This side had more coating, but does hide the fact that the wafers aren't lined up.

Coating doesnt hit the sides much, but does hit the top somewhat.

So I let my wife try one of these the other day, and she just wasn't impressed, which surprised me since it should have been an easy win. Now that I've tried one myself, I think I get it.

For starters, the cheesecake is just a bit much. It's at 8 when it should be at 6. Now combine that with the fact that there is not a ton of strawberry flavor kicking in, nor a ton of graham flavor really, and I get why she didn't love it. This treat is cheezy first, everything else a distant second.

Now I'm not saying this is a bad bar, and I definitely finished it, but it's not what I was expecting. Let's see if some lowered expectations don't make the second try go a bit better.

On Second Scoop: I really think that the lack of strawberry is holding this one back. Well, that and one other possibility. I wish the outer graham coating was more of a factor. If it was more solid graham bits rather than graham dust, I think it would help tie everything together better.

Verdict?  not bad, not amazing
Buy Again?  only if the mood struck
