So Delicious Dairy Free S'mores Sandwiches
rich chocolate & toasty marshmallow creme flavor sandwiches between graham wafers
These are not traditionally sized sandwiches.
(branded label is always a good thing though)
Yeah, it's been in the chest freezer for awhile, so ignore the ice crystals on the sides. The funny thing is that it looks chocolate from the outside, so I was not expecting the marshmallow flavoring as I bit in to it.
Hmmm, how do I feel about this after just two bites? It ain't bad!
After four bites? I think a lot of people might not notice that this is non-dairy.
After the final two bites? Yeah, I could eat another right now.
I would say the wafer to filling ratio is pretty good. The wafers aren't super dense, but they do provide some graham cracker flavoring, so that's cool.
Maybe a bit of non-dairy aftertaste vibes, but it's pretty minimal. I'm not saying this is straight up ice cream, but considering how many frozen dairy dessert products have flooded ruined the market, this isn't a huge change from other available products.
So this isn't some big proper ice cream sandwich, but as a fun little non-dairy treat, I think they did a good job. Chocolate, marshmallow, and graham are all here in a ice cream sandwich formfactor.
No major complaints from me at the moment.
On Second Scoop: I had another one, and I still like these. It's a neat little treat with minimal non-dairy-ness kicking in. I still need to have my son try one, but I'm thinking these are good enough to justify trying the strawberry cheesecake version as well.
Verdict? respectable
Buy Again? maybe!
