Turkey Hill S'mores Trio'politan Ice Cream

[New for 2021] So it's been 3 years since the Trio'politan line debuted, but for whatever reason, they didn't release any new Trio flavors last year and this is the only new one for this year. Hey, we'll take a new Trio flavor though right? Especially if it's S'mores flavored.

If you look closely, you can see graham bits in the graham section.

As you might suspect, the graham section is my favorite and the marshmallow section is my least favorite. The chocolate is ok. Turkey Hill ice cream's regular offering have gotten airier and a bit more gummy like most mainstream ice creams, so that does play a factor here. I would say flavor plays a part is my non-love of the marshmallow side (so many fake tasting marshmallow flavors out there) and then texture plays more a part in the chocolate middle.

That all said, the graham section is enjoyable and rescues this container. I'd be happy to just eat the graham section out of the container, but I do hate to waste, so it's a bit of game to see how best to spread it out with the other two sections. 

After experimenting with the best combo of each flavor on my spoon, I swirled together that last of each section in to a pretty tasty smoosh. Maybe not an amazing combo, but for a mainstream product, it was pretty satisfying.

On Second Scoop: taking my time working through this one. The longer I do this, the harder it gets to enjoy mainstream ice cream. Not completely mind you, but I just don't gravitate towards these softer flavors and have no urge to eat them on a daily basis. This flavor is fine, I'm just not chomping at the bit to finish it. --- that said, I had serving #3 today and it was fine. If you are interested, give it a try.
