Kemp's Raspberry Cheesecake Yo2 Frozen Yogurt

[Debuted 2016, switched to paper pints late 2018] So the other day I posted my first run in with the new Yo2 (Yo2) lineup from Kemps. After my first scooping of that flavor, I had the kind of mixed feelings that can really only be settled by trying the same product but in a different flavor.

Cheesecake frozen yogurt with graham crunch and raspberry swirl

Another nice looking start but let me jump right to the fact that I am not going to be a fan of this one. While the caramel had a certain positive going on with the Kemp's froyo, the cheesecake flavoring exaggerates the negative side of the froyo. I'm not saying that everyone will hate this, but if you don't like drinkable yogurt tang, this flavor is not for you because the cheesy tang here is right in your face from the very first spoonful.

I was taking tiny bites and I still couldn't get in to it. I tried aiming for the tiny graham bits but they are too small to make a difference. The swirl didn't seem to really help on this first tasting either. I'm going to break for now and see if I can't get myself in a better mindset before digging in again.

On Second Scoop: I take a bite. "Maybe I was too hard on this one". I take another bite. "No no, this one really isn't for me". I really don't know where my bias against cheesy ice cream ends and my actual critiques begin. The cheese/yogurt factor is just too strong here. I even messed with mixing it with a black raspberry ice cream but now I'm just even more confused. Ok, not confused, more like annoyed actually. Proceed of your own free will.

Verdict?  so. cheezy.
Buy Again?  not for me
