Humboldt Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream

Alrighty, just a random quick post here. I wasn't sure what I really wanted a couple weeks ago, but then I spied this pint for a measly $2.50. Cheap snack time!

Uh oh

Yeah, the cookie dough factor is pretty weak.

Look, I wasn't expecting a lot from this pint, especially on sale, but there was part of me that was hoping for a nice surprise... well, a decent surprise. The base ice cream is decent. It's a bit stiff but that's better than gummy. The chips are ok but quite small and infrequent. The cookie dough is tiny and scarce.

This begs the question: why bother? Yes, cookie dough is standard fair that people come to expect from every company, but if you can't deliver the chunks, why not try to think outside the box. Give us a brown sugar base or something. Make the base the cookie dough factor if you cant afford chunks. I don't know, get creative.

So this will do for now, but it's pretty sad.

On Second Scoop: Cookie dough hasn't picked up unfortunately. Oh well. Technically I wasn't expecting a ton, but it would have been nice to have more.

Verdict?  needs more of the good stuff
Buy Again?  meh
