Klondike 100 Calorie Ice Cream Sandwich Review

I don't know what's scary: The fact these have been in my freezer for most of the year, or the fact they haven't completely shriveled up into nothingness.

Klondike 100 Calorie Vanilla Ice Cream sandwiches
Formerly Slim-a-Bear  ***   Made with low fat vanillin ice cream

Now these things are old, real old....
like I bought them before the February State of the Freezer address

They are so old that....
Wait, what? that doesn't help prove my point.
How long do these things last?

Yeah, now those ice crystals help prove my point!

Thankfully the ice shakes off and you are left with a regular treat.
See, it doesn't look too bad does it?

It pains me to say it, but these aren't bad. Now I don't know what it is, but there's something here that works despite it's similarity to a skinny cow ice cream sandwich. Is it a richer wafer flavor? maybe. A better texture? maybe that too. There might be a bit of a wonky light ice cream aftertaste, but I rather have that on the back end then on the front end. I'm not saying you'll forget these are low fat, but at a 100 calories and minimal fat, these are completely guilt free. (and no, they are not my beloved Turkey Hill light ice cream sandwiches mind you, but it won't kill me to finish these off)

Verdict?  Long lasting, and not completely terrible
Buy Again?  Nah
