Cold Stone Creamery Cake Batter Confetti
Ice Cream Cake Review

That's right, I've got another Cold Stone Creamery Cake for you. You see, I got 4 petite size cakes for Father's day. I decided I wanted sweet this time, so cake batter it is!

Cake Batter Confetti is layers of moist red velvet cake and cake batter ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, wrapped in a creamy white frosting. There's also a kit kat on top for good measure. It says "Let stand for 10 seconds minutes before serving". Yeah... that'll happen.

One word that sums it all up? SWEET. Granted, I shouldn't be surprised based on the ingredients, but for me this one is borderline too sweet, and my tolerance tends to be pretty high. Now I tried to eat each individual part by itself to see if  one of them was pushing this treat to the edge, but the reality is that it's the combination of the three that is setting this treat apart.

With that all said, I must admit the ingredients seem to be in a near perfect ratio on this one. It's the same ratio as the Midnight Delight, but that oh so important cake to ice cream ratio seems a better match here. I guess it's the sweetness tieing it together, or maybe the super light whipped frosting somehow balancing it all out.

I guess the point is that it's hard to go wrong with a Cold Stone ice cream cake. The way I see it, you have 3 choices here. Cut it in half and never finish your piece, cut it in fourths for pieces that will be just a bit to small, or do what I do and cut it in thirds. It's just the right size piece to be satisfying but not push you over the edge. NOTE: if you eat this whole thing by yourself, you are a brave, brave person.
