Having finished up the Blue Bunny Birthday Party Ice Cream sandwiches, it seemed safe to try one of Blue Bunny's other offerings: The Neopolitan Ice Cream Sandwich. As you know, I tend to prefer traditional treats, but I figured it was something I had to try once.To keep it simple: I don't like these. It's not that it's poorly made, and it's not that I think people won't like it, it's that I don't like it. The chocolate wafer is fine - if not a little dry, but it's just that the strawberry with chocolate wafer doesn't appeal to me. Actually, the chocolate on chocolate really doesn't either. While the birthday party seemed to tread new ground, this one feels too much like sacrilege to me. Give me something truly unique, or give me that which I've had a million times.
I know, I'm being picky.
There's nothing substantially wrong with this product, I'm just the wrong person to eat it. I would much rather try one of their other more creative sandwich offerings.
