I'd easily recommend those brands over Jeni's any day.Nick Rovohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03431863638273330331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-50527128174497770632014-08-25T01:23:12.437-04:002014-08-25T01:23:12.437-04:00I so badly want to try Jeni's but they cost mo...I so badly want to try Jeni's but they cost more than I make an hour! I feel very encouraged to know that the other two you mentioned (Steve's and Gelato Fiasco) might be a bit less so I will probably be able to try those. Thanks for the heads up!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-72453827264482565972014-08-17T22:26:27.570-04:002014-08-17T22:26:27.570-04:00Bulldoglover, they do that with all brands though ...Bulldoglover, they do that with all brands though not just the high end brands. Really the only flavors that rotate in a store are the exclusive/limited editions. Other than that, stores really don't pick up old flavors from brands and only add the new flavors when they become available. The main reasoning is that stores want to get in products with the highest turnover possible. If a product doesn't sell well, they'll get rid of in favor of a newer flavor. As for having any influence, I've got nothing on companies. If i was you, I'd speak with a manager and if possible the frozen foods manager. They'd be able to assist you more and you can request them to order certain flavors which I've had plenty of success with.Nick Rovohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03431863638273330331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-62162434534885360642014-08-17T19:34:17.915-04:002014-08-17T19:34:17.915-04:00I agree with you completely. About 3 months ago they starting carrying Fiasco Gelato. Even if the price point were the same, I prefer FG. I know you love the toasted marshmallow s'mores, but my heart belongs to Wild Maine Blueberry. And dark chocolate. And peanut butter! Perhaps it's because they've had the same half dozen flavors of Jeni's for so long, I'm over them. I wish they would change out the flavors more frequently. After all, I pay the $$ so I can be dazzled by flavors not available at the grocery store. But, if they just keep the same flavors of the high end brands for too long, I go back to Ben and Jerry's. Any insight as to why they do this, and can you use your influence to get them to mix it up more?! I really can't believe that when companies like Steve's, Gelato Fiasco, ect are doing the same thing at a cheaper price.Nick Rovohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03431863638273330331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-384329692727378622.post-90918080316921704082014-08-17T18:30:21.029-04:002014-08-17T18:30:21.029-04:00Why it is $10 price mark?
